What We Do

We care for 60 permanent residents at the sanctuary, including many species of exotic birds, pigs, chickens, roosters, emu, ducks, goats, dogs, cats, turkeys, & geese. Almost all of them have medical needs. They all will be provided life-long, individualized care. That includes clean beds, aviaries, & homes, providing their daily necessary medication, and keeping them all bathed, safe, and comfortable. We also provide routine vet visits, vaccines, nail treatments, and any preventative care necessary. We provide enrichment activities for every resident, keeping them active and happy. We also are a resource for the community, providing compassion consulting and offering help when available. We hold community events at the sanctuary, including volunteer events and fundraisers & do public speaking at local events to raise awareness.
